Anybody else watch My Life As Liz?
I love her view of Valentine's Day. She was just like me in high school, seriously.
I never once got anything from a boy for Valentine's Day. I remember we used to have 'singing valentines' in choir where we would go from class to class passing out cards, flowers and singing a song for a person whose boyfriend/girlfriend wanted to surprise them. I also remember that I never once got one.
In middle school, there were carnations that love birds bought for each other. Never got one of those either.
Yes, it is completely superficial and awful. But I'm sort of superficial!!! Sue me. I want to be wooed damnit. This year probably won't be any different.
I tried to make reservations for a fancy place in tucson for valentines day, but they were booked. So I'm leaving it entirely up to Omar. My hopes are not high.
Kill me now please.

I had a boy come up from Tucson and I realized I don't like him. Sad day Spooch. I miss you!
ReplyDeleteits a poopy day and if it makes you feel better, flowers die then the water gets moldy and YOU have to clean the vase, but not before theres the awkward "whats that smell?" conversation, chocolate makes you fat and sleepy and then your teeth hurt. its best just to ignore the whole damn thing...and dont watch tv, the tv lies! and so do those fluffy movies andrew is so damned fond of.
